On December 1, 2024, Zhaolong Wang, a member of the group, successfully defended their PhD thesis. The members of the defense committee were Dr. Guoli Yang from Zhejiang University Medical College Dental Hospital, Mr. Tao Jiang from Hangzhou Huamai Medical Technology Co., Ltd, Prof. Sergio Moya from Institute of Biomaterials (Spain), Prof. Bing Wang from Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, Prof. Liping Zhu from Department of Polymer, and Prof. Changyou Gao, with Prof. Zhu as the chairperson of the defense committee.
Zhaolong Wang's research interests include the large-scale preparation of hyperbranched polylysine and its biomedical applications, and he has published one article and several patents during his PhD studies. The whole defense went smoothly, while the experts present gave him a lot of pertinent comments and suggestions, and hoped that he would have better performance in his future work and study.
