Xiaofei Dong, PhD, full-time researcher. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University in June 2017, under the tutelage of Academician Robert Pelton. He then conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Polymers at Zhejiang University and stayed at the university to work in January 2021. His research interests are surface/interface engineering, surface modification of biomedical materials and medical devices. He has been engaged in application development research in related fields for a long time and has participated in a number of school-enterprise cooperation projects led by Vale, BASF, Alcon and other companies; he has published 5 SCI papers, applied for 5 invention patents, 3 of which have been authorized; and won the Book Prize of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
